Cosplay of the Shrouded Robes from Skyrim. Incomplete and no Blade of Woe, but the only chance I had to take pictures in the snow.

I prefer to conjure a couple of Daedric Lords and send them in, and stand at the back throwing fire everywhere.

Can't wait to see your DB robes finished!

Thanks, I got back from my first con recently and uploaded a bunch of photos from Comic Con. Including a few with my Dark Brotherhood robes, so if you still want to see my robes finished, you should check it out XD

Looks really cool! I like the Daedric swords, I wanted to make a Blade of Woe but ran out of time.

Compared to your robes, mines like wearing a bathrobe XD But, I did decide just 1 month before my first con to cosplay. I wasn't going to at first but then decided that it might be more fun. So my robes and my two Daedric swords were made with just 1 month to do it. And working fulltime, I was usually too tired in the evening to put any time into it, so it was just the odd few hours here and there over a 1 month deadline.

I'm attending another Con in April, so I'll have 5 months now to complete Robes 2.0 and Daedric swords 2.0 And hopefully this time, they'll look just as awesome as yours do here.

Oh, I had A LOT of fun running into other Skyrim cosplayers XD I did the whole, "I'm watching you" gesture to 2 Dovahkiin/dragonborn cosplayers I saw there. XD

Ah yeah, I've done so many cosplays rushing at the last minute. I think adding a belt would help a lot. I'm very impressed with the swords, I don't think I could have made something that good with weeks to do it.

I ran into one dragonborn at the con I went to, I'm not sure she actually recognised who I was...

The thing with the belt was that I had one, I actually had enough fabric to make a pair of pants, which I did. But two things happened, I left my pouches at home (the ones to carry my stuff in and add to my costume, they were black leather) and my brother came with me and he forgot his belt at home *actually mine was more of a sash* So I gave it to him to carry his stuff with.

Lol, the swords were actually very easy. Just foam board, cut and sanded into the shape of my swords, then painted. They didn't even weight 1 pound together, a few ounces at best, I carried both in one hand most of the time as I walked around the con XD

And I feel bad, As I was talking with the Nightingale cosplayer girl... someone came up to us and recognized us. We said hello, nodded and went back to our conversation... Later we realized that he... was the Grey Fox! Haha, we TOTALLY didn't recognize or remember about the Grey Fox from Elder Scrolls Oblivion game. Ugh, I felt SO bad afterward. So I kind of understand the dragonborn girl you met and her not being able to recognize you. I didn't recognize one of the most memorable characters from the previous Elder Scrolls game.

I hate forgetting things, I forgot my boots for my last cosplay, it's so demoralising. Nice of you to give yours to your brother.

You make it sounds so easy =P I think I'd have a very hard time making those.

Ah pretty awkward... to be fair I didn't recognise one of the cosplayers in the group I was in (and kept wondering why she was joining in all the group photos lol), in my defence she was cosplaying a creature as a human, but I still felt really bad.
